  • Where does the interview take place?
    The Essential Interview can take place anywhere, Zoom, the client’s home or office. We can also meet at a local coffee shop.
  • What are the costs for services?
    I charge an hourly rate with a minimum of two hours. For our first appointment I ask clients to pay for the first hour as a deposit. The balance will be paid at the end of the session. You may email me for my hourly rate. I accept cash, check and credit cards.
  • How long does it take for the wardrobe edit and organization service?
    It depends on how much is in your closet. It could take anywhere from three hours to a few days. This process requires clients to try on their clothes to determine whether to keep, toss or donate.
  • How many shopping trips will I need to take?
    Most people require two shopping trips, we will spend between two to three hours shopping. I like to keep the shopping trips short as most people get tired after two hours.
  • How much should I expect to spend on new clothes and accessories?
    Between $1000 and $5000 for a new wardrobe. This is for higher quality items and includes shoes also.
  • What if I have a unique body?
    I am happy to say I work with all body types ranging from petite to curvy.
  • Do you offer Virtual Styling?
    I do offer virtual styling and have had clients specifically request it since COVID 19 restrictions were in place. I am happy to walk you through the virtual process during the free consultation session.
  • Do you shop the discount stores?
    I do not shop at discount stores because the process can be overwhelming and inefficient and essentially will cost the client more money.
  • Which stores do you take your clients to?
    Stores I frequent are Nordstrom, Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Saks Fifth Avenue, White House Black Market, H & M, J.Crew, Banana Republic and Ann Taylor just to name a few.
  • Do you shop online?
    Yes, I do shop online. Online shopping is another great resource for my clients, especially when I am unable to find something specific such as environmentally friendly clothing.
  • I don’t need help with style but I would like someone to shop for me?
    I do offer this service to clients. Sometimes there is not enough hours in the day or I have some clients that simply hate shopping,
  • Do you only work with clients who live in the San Jose area?
    I am prepared to travel for clients, however there is a small traveling fee (This is determined during the Essential Interview).
  • Are there other fees I need to be aware of?
    Most clients will require some tailoring, so this is where additional costs may occur. Another cost is if I virtually work with clients and I ship their items, the client is responsible for shipping charges.
  • How do you prefer communicate with your clients?
    I prefer to communicate via email, but if you are running late for one of our meetings texting is a good option.
  • Is measuring my body important to my personal style?
    I believe everyone should know their measurements because it tells you and I about the shape of your silhouette which is a guide to what styles flatter you.
  • Is the process the same for both men and women?
    Yes, for the most part.
  • What is gift concierge service?
    It's a service provided for clients looking for gifts for loved ones and friends. We provide assistance with gift ideas and shopping and offer gift-wrapping services as well.
  • What type of gifts do you shop for?
    We specialize in clothing, intimate apparel, shoes, jewelry and accessories but we can ususally accomodate other gift requests. We discuss gift specialities during a consultation.
  • What area do you provide services?
    We are located in San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Santa Clara metropolitan area but if there is availability and enough time, we can provide services throughout the Bay Area. There is a milege fee for travel 25 miles outside of our business area.
  • How much does this service cost?
    The price varies depending on the services needed. We do online research, in-person shopping, gift suggestions and ideas. We do offer gift wrapping services and charge depending on box size.
  • When should I book the service?
    At least two weeks prior to when the gift or gifts are needed.
  • How long does it take to complete the process?
    It depends on your list and items you need help with. Our services require a minimum of 2 hours.
